About
For years, in rural areas of Brazil children have started to work from ages 10 or younger to help their families. Families that live in poverty receive what is called bolsa familia from the Brazilian government, this may only reach $50 dollars per month, which helps but is not enough to cover all needs, one of them is school supplies so kids can stay in school resulting in kids dropping out so they can start working.
A vicious cycle is created, kids stop going to school, they do heavy work on farms or other such non growth opportunities, they grow up not having an education, they get married never leaving or learning how to have a better life, then they have kids and the cycle continues.
Sending school supplies to the kids alleviates some of the burden of families, kids can stay in school and they can keep chasing their dreams, just like the founder did; if she was able to break the cycle they can too.

We believe all kids should have an opportunity of a better future.
